Anika Bay is a city at war with itself. The city was built on the back of old economies like industrial manufacturing and agricultural processing. As those industries declined new economies took root. The city, and it’s population, is now a patchwork of the old and the new. Parts of the city that appear as they have for over a hundred years are juxtaposed against gleaming modern architecture built to accommodate a more modern aesthetic. Traditional values held by families that have lived in Anika Bay since it was founded compete against a growing population of young idealists who have very different priorities. The growing rift is also evident in the city’s supernatural community. Those shadow societies, like the city itself, are on the precipice of tearing themselves apart.
